Test mode
The same base URL and the same endpoints, with test data. Switch with one header.

Ask for test access Ask us for test access, and we'll send your test tenant, client ID and secret.
Switching environments
X-Environment: test # test data, no real money
X-Environment: live # real customers, real money A missing or misspelled header means test.
That's deliberate: a typo never moves real money. It also means a live integration with a broken header quietly runs in test, so check your first live call.
Test data
| What | In test |
|---|---|
| Bank transfers | Run against our partner bank's sandbox, so no real money moves. |
| Name enquiry | Returns whatever the partner's sandbox sends back. |
| Identity checks | Use our partners' test data. Ask us for sample BVNs. |
| Bills | The provider's sandbox catalogue. No real value is sent. |
| Webhooks | Delivered and signed, as in live. Test endpoints may use http://. |
What differs from live
- No real money moves and no real provider is called.
- Test and live data never mix, and a webhook endpoint belongs to one environment.
- The code is the same, so an integration that works in test works in live.
