Environments
Test and live share one base URL and the same endpoints. One header, X-Environment, decides which data a request touches.
There is one base URL, https://api.bridgemoni.com, and one API. The X-Environment header decides which data a request reads and writes.
| Value | What it touches |
|---|---|
test |
Test data. No real money moves. |
live |
Real customers and real money. |
X-Environment: test
A missing or misspelled header means test. That’s deliberate: a typo never moves real money. It also means a live integration with a broken header quietly runs in test, so check it in your first live call.
Test and live run the same code. An integration that works in test works in live; only the data and the credentials differ. Webhook endpoints are registered per environment, and an endpoint registered in test only ever receives test events.
See Test mode for what test data you can use.
