What "Held taps" means

Applies to Bridgemoni 2.1Last checked 22 October 2026

Held taps are payments you made or received with no internet. They’re kept safely on your phone until they settle with your bank.

How offline taps settle

  1. Money moves phone to phone straight away.
  2. The tap is signed by both phones.
  3. The next time either phone is online, it settles with the bank.

What you’ll see

  • Waiting to settle: taps still on this phone.
  • Already settled: taps the bank has recorded.
  • Nothing is waiting. Every tap has settled. You’re all caught up.

You always see exactly what’s still in the air.
