Know exactly what doesn't match, and who owns it.

Statement files in, a matching ladder, breaks with owners, signed certificates.

Why it matters

What it changes for you.

Reconciliation usually means a spreadsheet, a bank statement and a long afternoon, repeated every day. Differences found on Monday are found again on Tuesday, because nothing remembers them.

Bridge Reconciliation takes records from every party you deal with, matches them on a ladder of rules, and turns every difference into a break with an owner, an age and a resolution. Breaks carry over between runs, so something raised three weeks ago is three weeks old.

When the queue is in a state you'll stand behind, you sign the period off and get a signed certificate. It never posts to your ledger: it tells you what doesn't match, and you decide what to do.

How it works

Step by step.

  1. Onboard the parties

Your bank, processor, payroll partner or your own ledger. Each sends records the way that suits it.

  2. Records arrive

As a stream, a signed file (CSV, TSV, JSON, camt.053 or MT940), a batch over the API, or a statement you upload.

  3. The ladder matches them

Exact first, then by reference, amount and date windows, so the obvious matches never need a person.

  4. Breaks get owners

Every difference is categorised, valued, aged and assigned, and stays until it's resolved with a reason.

  5. Sign the period off

You sign, and receive a certificate of the reconciled period.

What you can switch on

Built in, not bolted on.

Any statement format

CSV, TSV, JSON, camt.053 and MT940, mapped to one model.

A matching ladder

Seven steps from exact to tolerant, each recorded on the match.

Breaks with owners

Assigned, aged and resolved with a reason, never re-raised fresh.

Signed certificates

A signed statement that the period was reconciled, by your own people.

Signed files in

Files are verified against the sender's key before a row is read.

Never posts

It reports differences; your ledger stays yours.

  • Ingests CSV, TSV, JSON, camt.053 and MT940
  • A seven-step matching ladder
  • Breaks tracked with owners until closed
  • Signed reconciliation certificates
Use cases

How businesses use it.

Illustrative businesses, not customers. Figures are made up to show the flow.

A payments company in Lagos · Fintechs & neobanks

Daily bank reconciliation

Finance spends every morning matching the bank statement to the ledger in a spreadsheet. Differences from last week get lost.

  1. The bank's daily statement arrives as a signed camt.053 file
  2. The ledger pushes its entries over the API
  3. The ladder matches nearly everything
  4. Finance works a short queue of breaks and signs off

Mornings go to the handful of breaks that matter, not to re-matching the same thousands of lines.

Matching payouts to the statement

Sellers call when payouts are late, and support can't tell whether the bank actually sent them.

  1. Payout records stream in from the platform
  2. The bank statement confirms each one
  3. Unmatched payouts become breaks within the day

Support sees which payouts the bank confirmed, and which need chasing.

Month-end sign-off for auditors

Auditors ask every year how the books were reconciled. The answer is a folder of spreadsheets.

  1. Each day's reconciliation runs on schedule
  2. Breaks are resolved with reasons
  3. The treasurer signs off each month
  4. Auditors receive the signed certificates

The audit question has a signed answer for every month.

What it won't do

Honest limits.

  • It never posts to your ledger: it tells you what doesn't match.

Questions about reconciliation

Does it change our ledger?

No. It never posts. It shows you what doesn't match and records how each difference was resolved.

What if a party can't integrate?

Upload their statement, or let us pull it. Not every party needs to send anything.

Who signs the certificate?

Your people. Sign-off stays with the organisation it protects.
