Create your account

You need an Android phone or an iPhone, and a Nigerian phone number. Your BVN is optional at first.

Steps

1. Enter your number. Open Bridgemoni and tap to sign up. Enter your phone number, then the code we send to it by SMS.
2. Add your name. Use your name as it appears on your ID, so later checks match.
3. Create a password. Use at least 12 characters, with letters and numbers. Your password opens the app.
4. Link this phone. Bridgemoni makes a key on your phone for offline payments. It never leaves the phone.
5. Set your PINs. Create a device PIN for offline taps on this phone, then a money PIN. You’ll enter the money PIN every time money leaves your account, online or offline.
6. Add your BVN, or skip for now. Your BVN raises your limits and lets you send to any Nigerian bank. You can add it later.

When you see “You’re set up”, your account is ready.

Good to know

• Keep your password and PINs to yourself. Bridgemoni will never ask for them.
• If the number already has an account, sign in instead.
