Add your BVN and raise your limits

Your Bank Verification Number (BVN) confirms you’re you. Adding it raises your limits and lets you send money to any Nigerian bank. Until you add it, your account stays at the first level.

Steps

1. Open Bridgemoni and go to your profile, or follow the prompt on the home screen.
2. Enter your 11-digit BVN. Don’t know it? Dial *565*0# on the phone number registered with your bank.
3. Tap Verify. Bridgemoni checks it with your bank.
4. When you see Verified, your limits are higher.

If something goes wrong

• “We couldn’t verify that.” The name on your BVN must match the name on your Bridgemoni account. Check both, then try again.
• “Still checking.” You can carry on using the app. We’ll let you know when it’s done.

Your privacy

We use your BVN to verify you. We can’t see your bank balances or move your money with it.
